Common use of Commencement Clause in Contracts

Commencement. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent 1. (2) Sections 5 and 6 of this Act come into operation on such day as is, or such days as are, respectively fixed by proclamation 1.
