Common use of COMBINED CLASSIFICATIONS Clause in Contracts

COMBINED CLASSIFICATIONS. Where an employee occupies a position which combines two (2) or more classifications of work (except as otherwise provided) they shall be paid at the rate of the highest classification provided they work in such higher classification for all hours spent working in the higher classification up to four hours. Where an Employee spends more than four (4) hours working in the higher classification, he/she shall be paid at the higher rate for the duration of his/her shift.
