Combination Positions. Employees may bid for/bump into and hold a second job (not to be used to break up a full-time position that opens up). Employees holding two (2) jobs shall receive benefits on a pro-rata basis with the exception of health benefits. It is understood that employees delineated in the last paragraph of article 17, Section A, will receive health benefits. Any bargaining unit member whose seniority allows it shall be allowed to bid for/bump into and hold two (2) positions even if it causes a layoff. The total number of hours with the combined jobs shall not exceed forty (40) hours per week. If the employee quits one of the positions, the employee shall revert to benefits appropriate to the retained part-time job, including vacation benefits.
