Common use of Closing of Account Clause in Contracts

Closing of Account. The Bank may close the Customer’s account at any time without giving reasons. In such a case the Bank obligations towards the Customers shall end following the issuance of a cheque with the amount of the available credit balance and sending it by post to the Customer’s address. The Customer acknowledges that he/she/it will be fully committed to settle any amounts owed to the Bank immediately after the Customer receives the Bank’s notification of the account closure.

If the account is closed due to any reason whatsoever, Customer should return the unused Cheque leaves to Bank.
