Climbing Safety During Long Periods of Extreme Cold. During extreme cold (i.e. 25° below zero chill factor) an extra employee qualified to climb may be assigned to accompany the employee who has been assigned to climb. During this time period, employees shall be allowed to schedule one-half (1/2) hour lunches.
