Common use of Classification Standards Clause in Contracts

Classification Standards. A. The Agency will apply newly issued OPM classification and job grading standards within a reasonable period of time, or as prescribed by OPM. The Union will be provided with copies of new standards that are implemented at the local level. Current classification standards are available on the OPM website. Management will meet and confer with the Union on procedures pertaining to mandated systematic position classification and special maintenance reviews. B. Upon request, the Agency will make available to the Union copies of any Agency guidance provided by OPM in connection with any classification standards.
