CLASSIFICATION AND REMUNERATION a) WFI commit to tailoring the grading, remuneration and performance management systems to meet XXX's specific organisational and business needs. In particular, every Employee is to receive reward and remuneration relative to other reward and remuneration arrangements throughout the company.
CLASSIFICATION AND REMUNERATION. Rates of pay 95 The salary rates payable for employees at each classification level covered by this Agreement are set out at Appendix A and Appendix B. 96 The salary of eligible employees will be adjusted by a percentage equivalent to the Wage Price Index for the Private Sector as advised by the Australian Public Service Commission for the period immediately before the scheduled adjustment in clause 97.
CLASSIFICATION AND REMUNERATION. 4.1 Classification and Salary Structure Employees will be paid in accordance with the applicable classification and salary structure set out in Appendix A. 4.2 Salary Payment An employee’s salary and salary related allowances will be paid fortnightly by electronic funds transfer into a financial institution account of their choice. The fortnightly base salary will be calculated by applying the following formula: Annual base salary x 12 = Fortnightly base salary 313 4.3 Salary Increases A base salary increase of 2% will be payable in the first pay cycle on commencement of this agreement. A further increase of 1.5% will be payable 12 months from commencement of this agreement and a final increase of 1% will be payable 24 months from commencement of this agreement (see Appendix A). 4.4 4.5 Salary on Engagement or Promotion Where an employee is newly engaged in the Department, salary will be payable at the minimum point of the salary range applicable to the classification, subject to clause 4.9. Where an employee is promoted from within the Department, salary will, subject to clauses 4.5 and 4.9 be payable at the minimum point of the salary range applicable to the classification. The Secretary may determine that where a person moves to the Department from another APS agency and their previous salary exceeds the maximum salary of the relevant classification level under this Agreement, they will, have their previous salary maintained until such time as it is absorbed by adjustments to the relevant salary rates under this Agreement. 4.6 An employee who is promoted from within the Department will be paid at a salary point that recognises any salary advancement during previous temporary reassignment within the preceding 24 months at, or above, their new substantive classification. 4.7 The Secretary may determine payment of salary above the minimum point in the applicable salary range having regard to: a) the employee’s level of experience; b) the employee’s qualifications and skills; and c) work undertaken of a similar nature. 4.8 Where, at the time of engagement, an employee’s salary is set at an incorrect salary point within the applicable salary scale the Secretary will authorise the payment of the employee’s salary at the correct salary point from the date it was incorrectly paid. If an overpayment has occurred, the amount of overpayment will be recovered from the employee in accordance with the AAI's. 4.9 Employees recruited to the Department from another APS ...
CLASSIFICATION AND REMUNERATION. Classification The classification structure for the Authority is set out at Table 1 in Schedule A. During the first 12 months from the commencement of operation of this Agreement, arrangements will be developed to provide for professional job streams within the Authority. The parties to this Agreement agree to consult on development of these arrangements including relevant policy, work level standards for all local designations and other supporting documentation as appropriate. Table 2 at Schedule A provides a preliminary indication of the professional job streams and associated broadbanding arrangements to be developed. Broadbands may be created during the life of this Agreement under the following facilitative provisions: the delegate may approve the creation or amendment of a broadband, after having received a proposal endorsed by a majority of the affected employees. The employee(s) and, where they so choose, their representatives must be consulted about the purpose and specific arrangements for a broadband before it is created; any broadband created under this Agreement operates according to its terms as if they were part of this Agreement; and the creation of any broadband is to be consistent with the Public Service Classification Rules 2000 and the APS Values relating to merit. Commencement Payment A $700 Commencement Payment will be made to all eligible employees. An eligible employee is a person who is an employee of the Authority on the date of commencement of this Agreement. Employees will receive the Commencement Payment as soon as practicable after commencement of this Agreement. Salary Increases In recognition of the productivity gains to be achieved during the period of operation of this Agreement, the salary ranges for each classification and the salaries payable to Authority employees will be increased as follows: with effect from the commencement of this Agreement, by 4% as detailed in Schedule A; and with effect from 1 July 2012 and 1 July 2013 after the commencement of this Agreement, by 3% and 2% respectively as detailed in Schedule A. Salary ranges to apply during the period of operation of this Agreement are set out in Schedule A. Details on the administration of these increases are contained in the Authority’s Remuneration Policy. CLASSIFICATION AND REMUNERATION at hire The employee, from the date of hire by the University, is classified according to the nature of the work and the characteristic elements which are fundamental to the position and are exercised on a regular basis. The classification of the position corresponds to one of the job classes which appear in Appendix "A". The employee is integrated into the salary scale which corresponds with his job class.
