Classes Represented. Any decision by the University Dismissal of an employee serving in a learner, trainee, or intern position is not appealable or subject to dismiss a non-status employee cannot be appealed by the Union nor challenged through the grievance procedure.. The parties further acknowledge and agree that the classifications set forth below were previously recognized as falling within the Local 3700 bargaining unit, but were deleted from the list set forth above because those classifications were eliminated by the State Universities Civil Service System, were no longer used by the University, or otherwise had become inapplicable. To the extent that any of the deleted classifications are revived by the State Universities Civil Service System and used by the University, the University will recognize those classifications as coming within the bargaining unit, provided that the essential job duties for those classifications are substantially the same as they were when those classifications were previously part of the bargaining unit. Any decision by the University Dismissal of an employee serving in a learner, trainee, or intern position is not appealable or subject to dismiss a non-status employee cannot be appealed by the Union nor challenged through the grievance procedure.. The parties further acknowledge and agree that the classifications set forth below were previously recognized as falling within the Local 3700 bargaining unit, but were deleted from the list set forth above because those classifications were eliminated by the State Universities Civil Service System, were no longer used by the University, or otherwise had become inapplicable. To the extent that any of the deleted classifications are revived by the State Universities Civil Service System and used by the University, the University will recognize those classifications as coming within the bargaining unit, provided that the essential job duties for those classifications are substantially the same as they were when those classifications were previously part of the bargaining unit.
