Common use of Classes and Types of Loans Clause in Contracts

Classes and Types of Loans. Loans hereunder are distinguished by "Class" and by "Type". The "Class" of a Loan (or of a Commitment to make such a Loan or of a Borrowing comprised of such Loans) refers to the determination whether such Loan is a Revolving Loan or a Term Loan, each of which constitutes a Class. The "Type" of a Loan refers to the determination whether such Loan is a Euro-Dollar Loan or a Base Rate Loan. Identification of a Loan (or a Borrowing) by both Class and Type (e.g., a "Term Euro-Dollar Loan") indicates that such Loan is both a Term Loan and a Euro-Dollar Loan (or that such Borrowing is comprised of such Loans).
