Class Grievances. Class grievances involving one or more supervisors and grievances involving an administrator above the building level may be initially filed by the Association at Step Two.
Class Grievances. In order to minimize the disruption to patient care in the case of class grievances, no more than two (2) attending physicians per shift, per unit, plus a Union representative, shall be released from work for grievance meetings at Step two (2).
Class Grievances. With respect to issues affecting more than one (1) bargaining unit employee, the Union may elect to file a grievance at Step 2 without the need for the individual employee(s) to file the grievance at Step 1. The twenty (20) day time limit referenced in Section 28.02, as well as the other requirements of this Article, shall be applicable to such filing.

Grievances involving one (1) or more employees and grievances involving an administrator above building level may be initially filed by the Representative Organization at Level 2. 3-9-4 Release Time: Should the investigation or processing of any grievance require that an employee or a Representative Organization representative be released from his/her regular assignment, said employee or representative shall be released without loss of pay and/or benefits.

Class Grievances. A grievance may be brought by any member of the bargaining unit. Where a group of bargaining unit members desires to file a grievance involving a situation affecting each member in the same manner, one member selected by such group may process the grievance as a class action grievance, provided each employee desiring to be included in the class action grievance signs the grievance. If more than one employee is involved in a grievance or a group of similar grievances, one of them shall be selected as spokesman. Any class action grievance shall be filed at Step 2 of the grievance procedures within the time limits of Step 1.

If, in the judgment of the Association, a grievance affects a group of grievants or the Association, or Association rights, the Association may initiate and submit such grievance in writing at Level Two. Class grievances involving more than one (1) supervisor and grievances involving the Administration above the level of the immediate supervisor may be filed by the Association at Level Two.

Class Grievances. (1) If, in the judgment of the Teacher Rights Committee, a grievance affects a group or class of teachers, the Teacher Rights Committee may submit such grievance in writing to the Superintendent directly and the processing of such grievance will be commenced at Level Two. The Teacher Rights Committee may process such a grievance through all levels of the grievance procedure, even though the aggrieved person does not wish to do so.
