Civil and Structural design a. Field survey and coordinate with the Authority to determine requirements for camera pole placement and installation.
b. Develop camera pole design based on Authority standards and details. The sixty- foot (60’) pole assembly will utilize a steel pole with a maximum deflection of 1 cm mounted on concrete base with drilled shaft sized for soil conditions. Authority to provide geotechnical investigation report (by others) to the Engineer for analysis to determine exact requirements for pole foundation design.
c. Develop grading plan for camera pole apron area to ensure proper drainage.
d. Develop security fencing plan and details (based on Authority standards) for each camera pole location.
e. Develop structural mounting details for all surveillance cameras per pole location.
f. Develop plan and profile design for all underground conduit runs required between point of service connection and camera pole equipment enclosure.
Civil and Structural design. The Contractor is responsible for the following: Detailed Civil & Structural design report signed by a Professional Civil Engineer which includes: o Survey drawings, design criteria/parameters, specifications and standards that were used, loadings, assumptions, calculations and results including detailed design calculations, design models, sources of information and any record of other information associated with the completed works. Detailed drawings for construction are also submitted in CAD formats (.DGN).
Civil and Structural design. 1. The Contractor is the design authority with regards to the existing structure for the loads induced by the HFPS and its support structure as well as any modifications carried out to the structure.
2. All submitted drawings to be signed by a Professional Civil Engineer with ECSA registration number stated on drawing.
3. Construction Specifications for the works are provided with the Contractor’s design 4. ▇▇▇▇ of Quantities for the works are provided by the Contractor 5. Any discrepancy or ambiguity between the Employer’s Specifications or requirements is immediately brought to the attention of the Project Manager for clarification.
