Common use of Child Support Payments Clause in Contracts

Child Support Payments. The Performing Party is neither an individual nor a business organization with an ownership interest of at least 25% by an individual who is in arrears on child support payments. Under Texas Family Code Section 231.006 (relating to child support), the Performing Party certifies that the individual or business entity named in this contract is not ineligible to receive the specified grant and acknowledges that this contract may be terminated and payment may be withheld if this certification is inaccurate. If the Performing Party is subject to § 231.006, prior to signing this Contract, Performing Party must provide TCEQ the names and Social Security numbers of each person with at least 25% ownership of the Performing Party.
