Common use of Chattels Clause in Contracts

Chattels. The Lessee shall keep the chattels clean and in good repair order and condition as at present reasonable wear and tear and damage by fire storm or tempest excepted (subject to the recovery of insurance moneys as aforesaid) and to make good all damage thereto and to replace with similar articles of at least equal value to the reasonable satisfaction of the Lessor all such chattels as may at any time be destroyed or lost or so damaged as to be incapable of complete re-instatement to their former condition and not without the previous written consent of the Lessor to remove or permit to be removed from the Demised Premises (except only for the purpose of necessary repairs) any of the chattels.
