Changes to requirements for Metering Equipment. The Operator may by notice in writing require the Shipper to modify, or to allow and arrange for the Operator to modify, existing Metering Equipment to comply with requirements or standards specified by the Operator after that equipment was installed, and if the modification is necessary to comply with safety Laws of general application, or to comply with the standard required by an amendment to this Contract implementing such Laws, the modification must be made at the Shipper's expense, and otherwise the modification must be made at the Operator's expense.
