Changes in protocol Clause Samples
The "Changes in protocol" clause defines the process and authority for modifying the procedures, methods, or standards originally agreed upon in a contract or project. Typically, this clause outlines who can propose changes, the approval process required, and how such changes are documented and communicated to all relevant parties. For example, in a clinical trial agreement, it may specify how amendments to the study protocol are submitted and approved by both parties before implementation. The core function of this clause is to ensure that any alterations to established protocols are managed in a controlled and transparent manner, thereby minimizing misunderstandings and maintaining compliance with regulatory or contractual requirements.
Changes in protocol. During the term of this agreement, the parties may agree to amend the protocols without the further approval of the Civil Service Commission to include any final changes to the HHS Drug Guidelines or the DOT Alcohol Guidelines that are published in the Federal Register and become effective. If the parties agree to adopt any such final changes, the parties shall notify the State Personnel Director in writing of the changes and their effective date. Any other change in the protocols requires the approval of the Civil Service Commission.
