Chairperson selection. Committee members shall, by consensus, select a staff nurse to serve as chair of any such committee. It is expected that the chair of any such committee shall serve for a term of 12 months. Upon request by the chairperson, assistance (including a co-chair role if desired) will be made available by the unit manager to the selected chair in his or her role.

  • Chairperson of Committee An Employer representative and a Union representative shall alternate in presiding over meetings.

  • Chairperson The Chairperson will supervise and control the affairs of the Committee and shall exercise such supervisory powers as may be given him/her by the Members of the Committee. The Chairperson will perform all duties incident to such office and such other duties as may be provided in these bylaws or as may be prescribed from time to time by the Committee.
