Common use of Certificates of Interested Parties Clause in Contracts

Certificates of Interested Parties. The Issuer acknowledges receipt from each Underwriter of (i) a completed and executed Form 1295 submitted to the Issuer pursuant to the provisions of Section 2252.908, Texas Government Code (collectively, the “Certificates of Interested Parties”) and has notified the Texas Ethics Commission, in the electronic format prescribed by the Texas Ethics Commission, of the receipt of the Certificates of Interested Parties in accordance with the provisions of Section 2252.908, Texas Government Code or (ii) evidence satisfactory to the Issuer regarding such Underwriter’s exemption from the requirements of Section 2252.908, Texas Government Code.
