Certificate of Airworthiness Matters. 23.6.1 The Aircraft will possess a current Certificate of Airworthiness issued by the Aviation Authority (although this Certificate of Airworthiness may later be substituted by the Export Certificate of Airworthiness or equivalent if requested by LESSOR pursuant to Article 23.10). The Aircraft at return must be in the condition required in order to meet the requirements of a U.S. Standard Certificate of Airworthiness for transport category aircraft issued by the FAA in accordance with FAR Part 21 and, in addition, to meet the operating requirements of FAR Part 121.
