Certificate Allowances. Firefighter personnel earning and using the following certifications on behalf of the City, will receive allowances as outlined below, added to their base pay. Employees receiving such allowances will be chosen by the Fire Chief or his/her designated representative. This decision will be based on the employee’s accepting responsibility for the role and active participation in the the program (if applicable), to be re-evaluated annually. Total expenditures for all certificate allowances and assignment pay may not exceed $12,000 per fiscal year.
Certificate Allowances. If you are the holder of a Certificate of Proficiency (as recognised by the Dental Assistants Education Council of Australia) you will be paid in addition to your appropriate salary a weekly allowance as follows: Proficiency $25.00 Radiography $15.00 Oral Health $12.00 Sterilising $25.00 If you are employed as a part time or casual employee, you will be paid a pro rata amount depending on the ordinary hours worked by you.
Certificate Allowances. After six (6) months of service, the following certificate allowances, identified in Schedule A, shall be paid to all permanent employees. Payment will not be made for more than one Certificate.
