Cashing Checks for Others. You should not use your Account to cash Checks for others who are not well known to you. Although we may make funds provisionally available to you and may take steps to determine whether a Check will be paid, you are responsible for any loss that occurs if the Check is returned to us for any reason (e.g., because it is counterfeit). Our employees cannot promise that Checks, including cashier’s Checks, will be paid.

  • Background Checks The State may require that the Contractor and Contractor Parties undergo criminal background checks as provided for in the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Administration and Operations Manual or such other State document as governs procedures for background checks. The Contractor and Contractor Parties shall cooperate fully as necessary or reasonably requested with the State and its agents in connection with such background checks.
