Common use of CARRIAGE Clause in Contracts

CARRIAGE. (a) Industrial Plugs, Sockets and Enclosures: (i) Where the value of any order exceeds £250 nett, the cost of delivery of the goods to the Purchaser’s premises on the mainland of Great Britain shall be included in the Contract price. A Purchaser requiring a delivery to a non-mainland destination should contact the Company to obtain details of carriage costs. (ii) Any orders below this £250 (subject to above) minimum order value will attract a £30 (or such value that may be notified to the Purchaser in writing) handling charge. (b) All other Cable Management products: (i) where the value of any order exceeds £450 nett, the cost of delivery of the goods to the Purchaser’s premises on the mainland of Great Britain shall be included in the Contract price. A Purchaser requiring a delivery to a non-mainland destination should contact the Company to obtain details of carriage costs. (ii) Any orders below this £450 (subject to above) minimum order value will attract a £30 (or such value that may be notified to the Purchaser in writing) handling charge. (c) For express/overnight shipments(only applies to non-linear goods) a minimum £30 (subject to above) handling charge will be applied. Any costs incurred by the Company of expeditingthis shipment over and above this amount will be recharged at cost to the purchaser. (d) Purchasers wishing to arrange collection of goods from the West Bromwich site ONLY can do so without charge between the hours of 08.30 – 12.00

Off-loading of the product at the final destination is not chargeable to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Electric Limited e.g. hire of Hiab, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, the preparation of a loading plan, slings, etc or other mechanical handling equipment etc. A Purchaser requiring a delivery to a non- mainland destination should contact the Company to obtain details ofcarriagecosts.
