Card Usage Terms Clause Samples

The Card Usage Terms clause defines the rules and conditions under which a card—such as a credit, debit, or membership card—may be used by the cardholder. It typically outlines permitted transactions, restrictions on use (such as prohibited purchases or geographic limitations), and the responsibilities of the cardholder regarding security and reporting lost or stolen cards. By clearly establishing these parameters, the clause helps prevent misuse, allocates liability, and ensures both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding card usage.
