Common use of Calculation of Time Period Clause in Contracts

Calculation of Time Period. Except as otherwise provided herein, when calculating the period of time before which, within which or following which any act is to be done or step taken pursuant to this Agreement, the date that is the reference date in calculating such period is excluded. If any period is to be measured in Business Days and the last day of such period is not a Business Day, the period in question ends on the next succeeding Business Day. Any reference to “days” and not “Business Days” shall be construed to refer to calendar days.
