Common use of Calculation of Pay Clause in Contracts

Calculation of Pay. The allowance granted to a teacher on sabbatical leave will be based on one-half (1/2) the base contract salary of the individual for the school term during which the leave takes place. However, upon request from the teacher on sabbatical leave, the School District will pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the base contract salary during the school term in which the leave takes place. In the school term following the sabbatical leave, twenty-five percent (25%) of the previous school term's base contract salary will be deducted from the teacher's new base contract salary.
