Bumping Rules. An employee who has been displaced by bumping shall have the same bumping rights as if his/her position had been eliminated. Employees in positions for which the District is reducing the assigned time shall have bumping rights as if the position was being eliminated. An employee shall not bump into a higher classification (i.e., one that has a higher salary range), more hours, or a longer work year. If an employee waives bumping rights, he/she shall be placed on a thirty nine (39) month reemployment list.
