Building Elements. The Airports Authority will maintain in good repair the building elements listed as “MWAA” on Exhibit 2-E, Operations and Maintenance Responsibilities Matrix. The Contractor must provide the Airports Authority with reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure in the event the Contractor believes that the Airports Authority has failed to comply with this paragraph before the Airports Authority may be considered to be in default. The Airports Authority shall not be required to undertake any maintenance or repair required by reason of any act or omission of the Contractor, or caused by any alteration, addition, construction, or improvement by the Contractor.
Building Elements. The requirements listed in this subsection shall apply to all front-facing and exterior-side facing facades as well as facades that directly face a park or plaza. Walls shall not be blank. Walls shall include windows and architectural features customarily found on the front of a building in a traditional downtown setting such as awnings, edge detailing, cornice work, decorative materials, and decorative lighting. The following additional requirements shall apply: i. Building Composition: Building facades shall be comprised of two distinct components: a base or ground floor and a top.
Building Elements. 1.4.2.1 Acoustically treated wall — wall which has been treated with materials to enhance the sound absorption or sound isolation of the wall, or both. 1.4.2.2 Acoustic ceiling — ceiling which has enhanced sound absorption or sound isolation, or both. 1.4.2.3 Computer area — space within a building which houses a computer system, associated media storage and support services and includes, where provided, the computer room. NOTE: The term ‘computer area’ is assumed to refer to one continuous area, sections of which may or may not be independently sealed for the purposes of fire protection or the environment, or both.
