Common use of BUILDING DEMOLITIONS Clause in Contracts

BUILDING DEMOLITIONS. It shall be the policy of the University to consider the environmental and historical aspects of any proposed demolitions. The University shall develop a procedure for the preparation and review of demolition requests, including any necessary reviews by the Department of Historic Resources and the Art and Architectural Review Board in accordance with state historic preservation requirements generally applicable to capital projects in the Commonwealth. Further, for any property that was acquired or constructed with funding from a general fund appropriation of the General Assembly or from proceeds from state tax-supported debt, general laws applicable to state-owned property shall apply.
