Common use of Breeding Clause in Contracts

Breeding. On occasion buyers purchase a kitten with the intention of having it solely as a pet but then determine that they would like to breed it. There is a difference in the price of a kitten sold for breeding purposes. You will not receive the kitten’s registration papers until you Spay or Neuter the kitten. If you honestly change your mind and think you'd like to breed the kitten / cat, contact us and we can see if this kitten would be appropriate to start a breeding program with. You will have to pay the difference between the pet and breeder price ($2,000 per Kitten). If you violate this provision Registered Bengals reserves the right to retrieve the kitten / Cat and to assess a penalty equal to the original purchase price of the kitten and to recover any and all legal costs associated with this process.
