Bonus Pay. The District may implement a bonus pay program for a group of employees (such as employees assigned to a particular school) to receive additional compensation above their normal wage or salary rates based on the group’s successful completion of goals specified in advance by the District. Nothing in this agreement precludes bargaining unit members from participating in that program or receiving the bonus pay.

Bonus Pay. The U.S.D. 323 Board of Education may compensate teachers for outstanding service to the District with monetary bonuses at the end of each school year, as outlined in the bonus pay criteria located in the Employee Handbook of Policies and Procedures. Through June 2006 the Board will not give unilateral bonuses.
Bonus Pay. A university may establish a bonus pay schedule to pay Division I Head Coaches for winning a championship, qualifying for the final four of a national championship, qualifying for a national championship final game, and/or winning a national championship. If a bonus pay schedule is established, it will provide the same bonus amounts for the same accomplishments for the head coaches of the Men’s and Women’s teams of the same sports. Aggregate bonus pay for any head coach in a Fiscal Year must not exceed fifteen percent of step forty-five (45) of the salary schedule.

Where an individual picks up a shift and later is absent for that shift, it shall count as an absence under this Section.

If an employee is excused by Management for additional funeral leave (per Section 1-B of this Article), the extra days will also count as days worked. If an employee arranges to be absent or is otherwise absent for any portion of his regularly scheduled work shift and subsequently works eight (8) or more hours on that day, that employee will not be penalized for the bonus pay eligibility.
