• Volunteer Peer Assistants 1. Up to eight (8)

• EDUCATION ASSISTANTS 1. All Education Assistants employed by the Board to assist teachers in carrying out their responsibilities and duties under the School Act and Regulations shall be assigned to classes and/or students by the Principal and shall be assigned specific duties by the teacher during the designated periods of time.

• Cooperation and Assistance (i) The Parties shall cooperate with each other in the filing of any Tax Returns and the conduct of any audit or other proceeding. They each shall execute and deliver such powers of attorney and make available such other documents as are reasonably necessary to carry out the intent of this Section 6.14.

• Subrecipient’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Subrecipient shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Subrecipient’s efforts in fulfilling Subrecipient’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Subrecipient’s Project Manager, in consultation and agreement with County, shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Subrecipient’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project Manager shall notify the Subrecipient in writing of such action. The Subrecipient shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Subrecipient’s Project Manager. • EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund the amount identified at Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, and shall remit such contributions to the Union together with union dues, and in the manner described in the Remittances to the Union article and in the Union’s remittance directive.

• Information and Assistance 15.1.1 Subject to any obligation in respect of confidentiality, the Data Protection Legislation and Confidential Information, the Parties will use all reasonable endeavours to provide and share information and data reasonably required by the other:

• Teaching Assistants 1. All Teaching Assistants shall receive the same remuneration per base unit and the difference between the amount paid a Graduate Teaching Assistant and other Teaching Assistants is an associated scholarship. See XIII D. for appropriate compensation.

• Dependent Care Assistance Plan An employee may designate an amount per calendar year, from earnings on which there will be no federal income tax withholding for dependent care assistance (as defined in Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code as amended from time to time.)

• Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

• Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services and the PEBT The Parties request that the PEBT Board undertake a review to assess the administering of all support staff Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) plans.
