Biohazard Pay Clause Samples

The Biohazard Pay clause establishes additional compensation for employees who are required to work in environments where they may be exposed to biological hazards. Typically, this clause outlines the specific conditions or roles that qualify for such pay, such as handling infectious materials or working in medical isolation areas, and details the rate or method of calculating the extra compensation. Its core function is to recognize and financially address the increased risk faced by employees, thereby incentivizing necessary work in hazardous conditions and ensuring fair treatment.
