BEREAVEMENT LEAVE AND PRESSING NECESSITY. Employees shall be allowed leave of absence with pay, without loss of benefits, to a maximum of five days per year. The leave shall be granted for bereavement within an employee's immediate family or someone with whom they maintain a close relationship. In addition, discretionary leave may be allowed under this Article for pressing necessities.
