Common use of Benefit Reserve Account Clause in Contracts

Benefit Reserve Account. When the Health Plan does not have to pay full benefits, or recovers the reasonable cash value of the Services provided because of COB, the savings will be credited to the Member in a Benefit Reserve Account. These savings can be used by the Member for any unpaid Covered Expense during the calendar year. A Member may request detailed information concerning the Benefits Reserve Account from the Health Plan’s Patient Accounting Department.
