Before Final Inspection Sample Clauses
The "Before Final Inspection" clause sets out the requirements and conditions that must be met prior to the final inspection of a project or property. Typically, this clause outlines specific tasks, documentation, or remedial work that must be completed before the final walkthrough can occur, such as finishing construction punch-list items or obtaining necessary permits. Its core function is to ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and the property is ready for acceptance, thereby preventing disputes or delays at the closing stage.
Before Final Inspection. Before requesting final inspection and acceptance, the Contractor shall submit to the Architect: (a) the final punch list with individual items signed off by Contractor, (b) redlined record Contract Documents, (c) operations and maintenance manuals, and (d) training agenda and schedule. Owner shall be responsible for obtaining: (a) completed and approved documentation of commissioning functional performance testing with the exception of any required seasonal or approved deferred testing, (b) final test and balance report, and (c) commissioning agent’s open items list signed off by the Contractor.
