BCLAD Stipend. 24.4.1.1 To be eligible for a BCLAD stipend, a unit member must meet all of the following conditions:  Hold BCLAD Certification  Work at a school/site where, within the student body, there are at least 15% or at least 75 English language learner designated students.  Willing to conduct a maximum of ten (10) hours of translation of school to home written or verbal communication as directed by the site administrator.
BCLAD Stipend. Beginning with the 2015-2016 school year, a BCLAD Effective July 1, 2023, all unit members shall receive an annual bilingual stipend of $1500 $3,000 shall be paid to all unit members who hold BCLAD certification. The stipend shall be added to the annual salary amount and paid out in ten, eleven or twelve equal increments dependent on the unit members classification. Unit members must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for the bilingual stipend:
BCLAD Stipend. The District will pay unit members who present evidence of certification through the Bilingual, Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development (“BCLAD”), an annual stipend of one thousand five hundred ($1,500) for unit members working in a position that requires a BCLAD. This annual stipend will be incorporated into the base pay, and will be prorated for unit members employed less than full-time. The stipend referenced in this section will be paid beginning with the school year following the unit member’s receipt of the certification and submission of the certification to the District on or before October 10, and will continue for each year for which the certification is valid. If the unit member receives a BCLAD stipend greater than the District stipend defined in this section, the District stipend will not be paid to the unit member in the same school year in which the unit member receives the State of California Stipend. The unit member will be responsible for notifying Human Resources Division when they receive the State of California Stipend.

  • Stipends Bargaining unit members may qualify for stipends for advanced degrees which are "in-field." Employees who held out-of-field stipends on the date of contract ratification by the BTU for the 1994-95 school year shall be allowed to continue to receive said stipends until they leave the employment of the District.

  • Board Member Training Within 90 days after the Effective Date, each member of the Board of Directors shall receive at least two hours of training. Specifically, the training shall address the unique responsibilities of health care Board members, including the risks, oversight areas, and strategic approaches to conducting oversight of a health care entity. This training may be conducted by an outside compliance expert hired by the Board and should include a discussion of the OIG’s guidance on Board member responsibilities.‌ New members of the Board of Directors shall receive the Board Member Training described above within 30 days after becoming a member or within 90 days after the Effective Date, whichever is later.

  • Travel Expenses CONTRACTOR shall not be allowed or paid travel expenses unless set forth in this Agreement.

  • Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.

  • Travel Expense Reimbursement Pricing for services provided under this Contract are exclusive of any travel expenses that may be incurred in the performance of those services. Travel expense reimbursement may include personal vehicle mileage or commercial coach transportation, hotel accommodations, parking and meals; provided, however, the amount of reimbursement by Customers shall not exceed the amounts authorized for state employees as adopted by each Customer; and provided, further, that all reimbursement rates shall not exceed the maximum rates established for state employees under the current State Travel Management Program (xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/procurement/prog/stmp/). Travel time may not be included as part of the amounts payable by Customer for any services rendered under this Contract. The DIR administrative fee specified in Section 5 below is not applicable to travel expense reimbursement. Anticipated travel expenses must be pre-approved in writing by Customer.
