Basic Services Bidding Phase. A. After acceptance by City of the final Design Phase Documents and the most recent OPCC as determined in the Final Design Phase, Consultant shall: 1. Assist City in advertising and obtaining bids for the Work and, if applicable, attend a pre-Bid conference. 2. Issue Addenda as appropriate to clarify, correct, or change the Bidding Documents. 3. Consult with City as to the acceptability of subcontractors, suppliers, and other individuals and entities proposed by Contractor for those portions of the Work as to which such acceptability is required by the Bidding Documents. 4. Attend the Bid opening and assist City in evaluating Bids or proposals. B. The Bidding Phase will be considered complete upon commencement of the Construction Phase or upon cessation of negotiations with prospective Contractors.
