Common use of Base Wages Clause in Contracts

Base Wages. The pay grades and base wage rates covered under this Agreement as of June 1, 2021 through December 31, 2024, respectively, are set forth in Appendix A. New hires and employees hereafter promoted into this unit from the Corrections Officers unit shall be placed at the minimum step of the Wage Schedule. After one (1) year of service at the minimum step, the employee shall advance to the 1 year step. Each employee shall thereafter advance to each successive step after twelve months service at each such step until he reaches the maximum step of the Wage Schedule for his classification and pay grade.

New hires and employees hereafter promoted into this unit from the Corrections Officers unit shall be placed at the minimum step of the Wage Schedulerate. After one twelve (112) year of months service at the minimum a step, the employee shall advance be advanced to the 1 year step. Each employee shall thereafter advance to each successive step after twelve months service at each such next succeeding step until he reaches the maximum step of the Wage Schedule for his classification and pay gradeschedule.
