Bargaining Unit Definition. The bargaining unit shall include all part-time teaching employees of Flathead Valley Community College excluding the following: early retirees as defined by Board Policy; nursing instructors; career and technical education instructors; full-time instructors; continuing education instructors (including Glacier Institute instructors); contract training instructors; and visiting celebrity instructors with unique skills, reputation or qualifications, such as well-known entertainers, authors, business magnates and government and education officials; supervisors; managers (to include all administrative, exempt, and professional employees); and confidential personnel.
