Common use of Bad Debts Clause in Contracts

Bad Debts. Contractor shall have the right to accept payment by checks and to conduct all or a part of its business on a credit basis; provided, however, that the risk of such operation shall be borne by Contractor, and Contractor shall not be permitted to deduct from Gross Receipts any bad debts or nonpayments by customers.
