Common use of Background and Reference Checks Clause in Contracts

Background and Reference Checks. Due to the confidential nature of the information and materials which will be accessible to Contractor, HBE will require the Contractor to conduct a state and/or federal criminal background check, ▇▇▇/EPLS check and/or reference check on Contractor Staff to be used to provide the Services. HBE reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any propose Contractor Staff as a result of information produced by such reference or background checks.
