Common use of Back Wages Clause in Contracts

Back Wages. All claims for back wages shall be limited to the amount of wages that the employee otherwise would have earned, less compensation for personal services that he may have received from any other source, as well as any unemployment compensation he may have received.

Back Wages. All claims for back wages shall be limited to the amount of wages that the employee would otherwise would have earned, earned less any unemployment compensation or compensation for personal services that he may have received from any other source, as well as any unemployment compensation he such employee may have received, or could with diligent effort have received, from any source during the period in question.
