Common use of Award Modification Clause in Contracts

Award Modification. Clause 20.2 modifies Clause 35 – Public Holidays of the Award by substituting payment of penalties for working on a public holiday by including the penalties in the ordinary annualised rate of pay at 12 – Rates of Pay.

Award Modification. Clause 20.2 18.2 modifies Clause 35 19 – Public Holidays Holiday Work (relating to the payment of double time and one half penalties on public holidays) of the Award Award. These penalties are replaced by substituting payment of penalties for working on a public holiday by including the penalties single loaded rate contained in the ordinary annualised rate of pay at 12 – Rates of Paypay.

Award Modification. Clause 20.2 18.3 modifies Clause 35 19 – Public Holidays Holiday Work of the Award by substituting payment of penalties at double time and one half for working on a public holiday by including the penalties in with payment at the ordinary annualised rate of pay at 12 – Rates due to the inclusion of Paypenalties for working 5 public holidays (38 hours) per annum in the hourly rate of pay.
