Common use of Automatic Extension of Regular Maturity Date Clause in Contracts

Automatic Extension of Regular Maturity Date. If, on or before the day which is ninety (90) days prior to the then Regular Maturity Date of this Agreement, neither of the parties to this Agreement shall have given notice to the other party that it wishes this Agreement to expire on said Regular Maturity Date, then said Regular Maturity Date shall be deemed to have been extended automatically for an additional one (1) year period.
