Authorised deductions. (a) The Company shall deduct and pay on behalf of an employee, from any remuneration payable to the employee, any payments authorised in writing by the employee, including but not limited to subscriptions payable by the employee to the Union, and shall continue to make such deductions and payments unless and until the employee gives the Company written notice of withdrawal of such authority. (b) The Company shall deduct from any remuneration payable to the employee any amounts required to be deducted under any statutory provision of the State of New South Wales or of the Commonwealth of Australia, and shall disburse any such amounts in accordance with the requirements specified under the said statutory provisions.
