Attrition First. Prior to the application of the following procedures, the parties hereto agree that they will cooperate in facilitating the placement of employees displaced as a result of 9.01 above by attrition wherever possible. The basic principle in applying displacement to any regular employee shall be last hired, first laid off provided the retained employee(s) can perform the job. (See Article 19.01 c)
