Assignment Prohibited No party to this Agreement may assign any right or obligation pursuant to this Agreement. Any attempted or purported assignment of any right or obligation pursuant to this Agreement shall be void and of no effect.
Smoking Prohibited As a public school, the School shall prohibit the use of tobacco at its school or at School functions.
Certification Regarding Prohibition of Boycotting Israel (Tex Gov. Code 2271) If (a) Vendor is not a sole proprietorship; (b) Vendor has ten (10) or more full-time employees; and (c) this Agreement or any agreement with a TIPS Member under this procurement has value of $100,000 or more, the following certification shall apply; otherwise, this certification is not required. Vendor certifies, where applicable, that neither the Vendor, nor any affiliate, subsidiary, or parent company of Vendor, if any, boycotts Israel, and Vendor agrees that Vendor and Vendor Companies will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the term “boycott” shall mean and include refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action that is intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel, or with a person or entity doing business in Israel or in an Israeli-controlled territory but does not include an action made for ordinary business purposes. Gifts Prohibited The Consultant represents that it is familiar with Chapter 12.08 of the San Xxxx Municipal Code, which generally prohibits a City officer or designated employee from accepting any gift. The Consultant shall not offer any City officer or designated employee any gift prohibited by Chapter 12.08. The Consultant’s violation of this Subsection 21.1 is a material breach.
EMPLOYMENT OF UNAUTHORIZED ALIENS PROHIBITED In accordance with §2.2-4311.1 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, the Contractor must not during the performance of this Contract knowingly employ an unauthorized alien, as that term is defined in the federal Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
Program Requirements Provided At No Charge to the Judicial Council A. The Contractor shall provide the following items during the Program at no charge to the Judicial Council:
LOBBYING PROHIBITED Federal funds shall not be used by Contractor for publicity or propaganda purposes designed to support or defeat legislation pending before federal, state or local government. Enforcement of Certain Federal Firearms Laws Prohibited In accordance with House Bill 957, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2.101 is applicable to Contractor, Contractor certifies that it is not ineligible to receive state grant funds pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 2.103.
ASSIGNMENT/SUB-CONTRACTING The Contractor agrees that he will not sell, assign or transfer this Agreement or any part thereof or interest therein without the prior written consent of the Owner.
