Common use of As-Built Documents Clause in Contracts

As-Built Documents. 3.10.1 Contractor shall maintain one set of As-built drawings and specifications, which shall be kept up to date during the Work of the Contract. All changes which are incorporated into the Work which differ from the documents as drawn and written shall be noted on the As-built set. Notations shall reflect the actual materials, equipment and installation methods used for the Work and each revision shall be initialed and dated by Superintendent. Prior to filing of the Notice of Completion each drawing and the specification cover shall be signed by Contractor and dated attesting to the completeness of the information noted therein. As-built Documents shall be turned over to the Owner’s Representative and shall become part of the Record Documents. Refer to Division 1.

All changes which are incorporated into the Construction Work which that differ from the documents as drawn and written shall be noted on the Asas-built set. Notations shall reflect the actual materials, equipment and installation methods used for the Construction Work and each revision shall be initialed and dated by Superintendent. Prior to filing of the Notice of Completion each drawing and the specification cover shall be signed by Contractor and dated attesting to the completeness of the information noted therein. As-built Documents shall be turned over to the OwnerContracting Officer’s Representative and shall become part of the Record Documents. Refer to Division 1.
