Common use of Artificial Clause in Contracts

Artificial. {a) The cutting, setting and pointing of cement blocks and all artificial stone or marble, either interior or exterior when set by the usual custom of the Stonemason and Marble Setter. {b) All cement that is used for backing up external walls, the building of party walls, columns, girders, beams, floors, stairs and arches and all material substituted for the clay or natural stone products, shall be controlled by members of the Union., for which the highest rate of wages shall be demanded. {c) All artificial masonry, the cutting, setting and pointing of all concrete prefabricated slabs, regardless of dimension size, shall be the work of members of the BAC Local No. 2, BC, for which the regular wage scale in the jurisdiction where the work is performed shall be paid.
