Common use of ARTICLE SCOPE Clause in Contracts

ARTICLE SCOPE. The scope of this Agreement shall apply to those employees who are regularly employed for hours or more on a bi- weekly basis in the job classifications in Schedule A, forming part of this Agreement or in those classifications established during the lifetime of this Agreement which by their nature should be added to Schedule say and except manager and supervisor, persons above the rank of supervisor, graduate and student dietitian, chef and office staff. The Company agrees that supervisors shall not normally perform work assigned to employees in the bargaining unit except for the purpose of training, instructing, experimenting, safety, and in emergencies. No employee shall be laid off as a result of a supervisor performing such work.
