Approval Process. If the employee’s sick leave request is approved by the principal, the sick leave will be credited against his or her sick leave. If the employee’s sick leave request is denied, the employee shall have the right to appeal the decision to the superintendent and then the chairperson of the school board. All requests for sick leave shall be recorded on a District approved sick leave form/card prior to or after the sick leave.
